Power of Connection

Ephesians 3:20

This is the story of our God who meets us in our pain and is using every heartache for something bigger than we could ever ask for or even imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.

Suffering in Silence

Ninety-five percent (yes, 95%) of our incarcerated residents are going to be released and become our neighbors.  The more we embrace and rehabilitate, the safer our communities will be.  Everyone deserves to be-loved, be-healed and BELONG!

While Chaplain Tammy served on Folsom State Prison's IFC council, her heart went out to the cries of those inside isolated for well over a year.  She wrote a 255-page workbook entitled "Suffering in Silence" to bring healing and wholeness to those inside.

Blameless believes in order for a successful transition back into society, severing generational cycles of dysfunction is also necessary to decrease criminal recidivism; thereby, offering the workbooks to the families of those incarcerated.

We believe treatment intervention needs to focus more on the effects of early-life experiences, God's amazing grace, and cycles of familial generational dysfunction.  Adverse childhood experiences are traumatic causes of relational poverty.

Blameless embraces that reoffenders lack relationships and that connectedness has the power to counterbalance adversity.  Trust is built on safe, secure and nurturing environments.

Please consider making a donation to Blameless and Forever Free Ministries.  Each workbook costs Blameless $52 to hand deliver programming into the hands and hearts of each incarcerated resident.  We praise God for your partnership and each donation is tax-deductible.  Folsom State Prison has approximately 2,600-plus residents along with CTF Soledad having 4,400 residents as of October 2021.

With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

APRIL IS SECOND CHANCE MONTH

Every person has value along with potential and dignity.  Over 70 million Americans have a criminal record.  That number sadly represents that approximately 1 in 3 American adults is living with a criminal record that is limiting their access to education, jobs, housing, and other items hindering their potential.

Blameless and Forever Free Ministries believes blessed are those who trust in the Lord, and that includes our incarcerated, their families and our correctional staff at our state prisons that Jeremiah 17.7 relates. Operating as trauma-informed prisons delivers peace, not triggers, when we place our hope and trust in the Lord, creating atmospheres that deliver healing and wholeness.

APRIL IS SECOND CHANCE MONTH

Heart-shattered lives ready for love don’t for a moment escape God’s notice (Psalm 147:3).

Trusting in the Lord can be hard at times to walk out and believe, especially when the wounds of our hearts have been traumatized by failed expectations and generational curses.

No app can replace human contact!  Humanity craves connection and relatedness. It taps into our emotional lifeline that we all need in order to survive what COVID or crime has deprived!

By now you’re probably realizing that our Lord has been in the process of healing your heart. You might not have known you needed healing until just recently. The way our Lord heals the heart is by forcing us back to the place where our wound originated from; childhood.

April is Second Chance Month for our men and women incarcerated.  Every person has value along with potential and dignity.

As Vice President Kamala Harris stated, “To be smart on crime, we should not be in a position of constantly reacting to crime after it happens. We should be looking at preventing crime before it happens.”

DECRIMINALIZING HUMAN PAIN

Blameless and Forever Free Ministries believes in investing in people, not prisons.  This is why we're so passionate in making Folsom State Prison an iconic symbol of healing and wholeness where all parties (staff, residents and families) transform culture through trauma-informed practices.

Starting rehabilitation on day one, not five or ten years down the road of the residents' incarceration, along with environmental changes and capitalizing on the beautiful and historical nature of the prison with the peaceful surroundings of nature with both staff and residents working together through trauma-informed care practices, bridges of healing and wholeness can begin to be built as lives are restored as we reduce ACEs and trauma by 50 percent in the course of one generation.

We can't wait to start this new pilot program that will transform culture!
